Pregnancy Stats:
How Far Along: 17 weeks 2 days
Size of baby: a little over 5 inches long and weighs 5 ounces. About the size of a baked potato :)
Total Weight Gain: 10 lbs. I gained 4 of those in the last 2 weeks and it must be apparent because in the past week or so when I'm out people have started to ask when I'm due and if it's my first, etc so that's fun :) My husband has also noticed the poundage and has shown his appreciation with increased slaps to the butt & whistles as I walk by. That guy's always keepin' it classy, yo.
Gender: To be determined.
Movement: I just felt baby for the first time last night! And then again this morning :) :) I love this part so much!
Sleep: For some reason I wake up every night/morning at 1am and it usually takes me about 15-30 minutes to fall back asleep but other than that I sleep pretty well.
What I miss: Not being nauseous. But we've all heard me complain about that enough ;)
Cravings: I've yet to have a craving this time around that I felt I would die without, or even one that's popped up consistently BUT I am loving fresh fruit (mangoes! strawberries! blackberries! raspberries!), Jamba Juice and ego waffle sandwiches (with peanut butter & syrup)
Aversions: Nothing different this week, unless you count my aversion to homework, ha! SO LAZYYYY.
Stretch Marks: Oh I've got 'em ;) But none from this time around at this point in time.
Symptoms: new symptom that flared up in the past couple of weeks, varicose veins. Painful and UGLY.
Best Moment this week: Feeling the baby kick! Oh how HAPPY feeling that little "thump thump" against my hand made me feel ♥ It's just so reassuring to be able to feel the baby and know that everything's ok in there, Isaiah is excited for when the kicks are strong enough that he can feel them too! :)
What I'm looking forward to:
My "big" ultrasound is coming up! Kaiser is being all bossy and wouldn't let me schedule it until my 19th or 20th week but that's coming up pretty soon! Both the boys are going to be coming with us for this appointment, it'll be cute to hear the commentary between them. Hee!

But seriously, the cuteness of you pregnant... it's too much!! I'm just SO glad I got to see the belly in person and touch it with my own hands.
does that sound creepy?? It does. But you know what I mean.... it was so wonderful to see you. I really do wish we lived closer so I could see you (and your bump) whenever we so desired!
