Cute & Easy Teacher's Gift!

I came across this idea on Pinterest while searching for crafts to do with my kids and loved how bright and colorful it was, not to mention EASY! I loved the idea of my boys being able to make their teacher's end of the school year gift themselves and when I showed them, they loved it too :) I know I'm posting this a little late, as most people have been out of school for a bit now but maybe it'll come in handy for next school year? :) Let me show you how easy it is!

You need one tall tin can, we used a spaghetti can, and THREE packs of color pencils. 

(It took one more box of colored pencils than I originally thought.)

Wrap a rubber band around the can and stick the colored pencils under the rubber band.

It takes LOTS of concentration ;) haha

Pick some pretty flowers out for your teacher!

Ta-Da! Vase is done!

Personalized printable tags from crafty blogger, Skip to my Lou!

Wrap with a ribbon to cover rubber band. Cute out tags, glue onto some card stock that you've cut to (sort of, ha!) resemble a flower and glue onto a pencil.

Stick in the vase with water & flowers and there you have it! :)

From picking out the flowers to making the vases and choosing which color paper & ribbons, Isaiah and Malachi had a lot of fun putting these together for their teachers. :)

They were SO PROUD to hand their thank you gifts to their teachers on the last day of school and the teachers gushed over how cute they were, so fun! Another thing I thought was cool about this was that since we didn't glue anything down, when the flowers die the teachers can take apart the vase & use the pencils as supplies in their classroom. Definitely a win-win! :)
